The army Sunday night sealed two houses in Hussan village near Bethlehem, owned by Arab villagers who reportedly admitted they laid mines on a track used by tourists not far from their village. A soldier who stepped on a mine was severely injured, an army spokesman said. During the army investigation into the incident other mines were discovered and several other suspects were detained, the spokesman said.
