The chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council informed President Clinton that he intends to resign as soon as a successor is appointed. After more that two decades of involvement in creation and development of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Miles Lerman told Clinton on Wednesday, “I am proud that I have accomplished all of my original goals.”
