The formation of a Jewish National Fund Council here is being planned by the affiliated Zionist bodies and synagogues in that city. At a recent conference eleven organizations and congregations were represented. Delegates from these eleven organizations and five others will complete the formation of the Council which will concern itself with promoting National Fund endeavor in Newark. Jacob Convissor was chosen temporary secretary of the proposed Council.
