The leader of the British rock band Bush recited the Jewish blessing over bread at a concert in Austria to protest the inclusion of a far-right party in that country’s government. Gavin Rossdale said he made the blessing “to offer condolences for the people having to deal” with the new government. Rossdale’s relatives on his father’s side were Jews who emigrated from Russia.
