Please allow me to extend my appreciation to Mr. Ziff for his brilliant article “I Like the British—But.” At a time when most writers have forgotten the “Jewish State Zionism” which is being masked with an idol worshipping or strange God Zionism, I am very happy that at last someone found courage to uncover the false policy of the British and analyze the real Herzlian solution of the Jewish problem. I also take great pleasure in congratulating the Bulletin for its impartial stand and its excellent articles.

HOPES FOR SYNTHESIS
To the Editor, Jewish Daily Bulletin:
I cannot refrain from complimenting your contributors Messrs. Ludwig Lewisohn, William B. Ziff and Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver, for saying things on the Jewish question that needed saying, and to congratulate you for affording them the valuable medium through which their thoughts, suggestions, guidances, warnings, and remedies could reach a wider audience. Out of what they have said, and will say, there must come, I hope, a “symphonic” synthesis which ought to be a synoptic catharsis for Jewry’s troubled soul.
Doubtless, the defensive pattern of our existence, will continue to go on, but from now on, so I believe, the offensive idealogies and practicalities which the peoples that surround us have ingrained in us, these, I say, will have to run parallel with our defensive mechanisms.

As a reader of the Jewish Daily Bulletin permit me to make to you the following confession.
I first began to read the Jewish Daily Bulletin since it appeared in its enlarged size, but my interest for your paper started with the appearance of Mr. Ziff’s articles in your paper. I read all his articles and I am saving them. I believe this is the best material that was ever published in your paper since its enlarged size.
Mr. Ziff’s articles are a guide and an inspiration to all the Jews and especially to the Jewish youth who are passionately devoted to the National regeneration of their people.
