The state of Israel’s waterways is alarming, a new study says. Government oversight of Israel’s seas and rivers is inadequate, according to the study by Zalul, an environmental group. The report says 75 percent of marine pollution in Israel comes from sources such as industrial waste and sanitary sewage.
