The United States will continue dealing with Yasser Arafat, a top U.S. official said. Reiterating U.S. policy, William Burns, undersecretary of state for Middle Eastern affairs, said at a meeting Wednesday in Cairo that Arafat remains the Palestinians’ chosen leader.
