The wartime deportation of 2,500 Jewish and anti-Nazi refugees from England to a prison camp in Australia is the subject of a new film. “Friendly Enemy Alien,” which made its debut in Berlin earlier this week, depicts how the men were abused and starved for 57 days on a prison ship.
