Traces of oil–not in commercial quantities–have been discovered at the Nirim One drill of the Lapidot Company located near the Gaza Strip border, Mordechai Cohen, managing director of the firm, announced today. Mr. Cohen said the discovery had helped geologists pinpoint the site for nearby Nirim Two.
