The seventeen year old Communist worker, Trofimov, who was tried here for the murder of his Jewish fellow worker, Bolsheminikov, received a sentence of ten years’ imprisonment. The term was reduced to five years because of his youth.
Three of Trofimov’s aides, Sinenikolsky, Kunitzin and Gurin, also received light sentences. The first two were sentenced to two years with a reduction to one year; Gurin was sentenced to one year, reduced to eight months. Kruze and Borisov, factory officials, charged with passivity in the case, received reprimands.
