Troops Pursue Arabs Who Raided Police Station

Five hundred British troops were today pursuing a large Arab band which had attacked a police station at Karkur, a Jewish colony in the Sharon Valley. The Arabs had been held off by machine-gun fire until arrival of the troops. Extent of casualties was not immediately ascertained.
