President Truman was urged today by the American can Jewish Conference and Zionist Labor groups to reject the late U.N. mediator’s recommendations for resolving the Palestine dispute. The American Jewish Conference, in its message to the President said that Secretary of State George C. Marshall’s hurried and unqualified endorsement” of Bernadotte’s proposals “raised serious doubts as to the real intentions of the United States Government with regard to the long-deferred settlement of the Palestine question.
