Two Germans Charged with Giving Nazis Poison Gas to Exterminate Jews Acquitted

Two of three employees of the Degesch chemical-manufacturing firm charged with supplying the Gestapo with large quantities of Cyclone-B poison gas for the extermination of at least 300,000 concentration## Inmates-most of them Jews–were acquitted here today. The third defendant, Dr. Gerhard Peters, former manager of the plant, was sentenced to five year imprisonment. The acquitted are Hans Ulrich Kaufmann and Karl Amend.
