Two hatchetmen from Hebron were fined IL 1500 each and given six-month suspended jail sentences for cutting down Jewish National Fund trees near Kibbutz Ruhama in southern Israel. They wanted wood without paying for it. Now they will have to pay the JNF IL 6000 for felled trees, in addition to their fines.
