Two Jewish leaders were attacked when they came to Brussels to attend a meeting this week of the European Jewish Congress. Avraham Berkowitz, executive director of the Federation of Jewish Communities in the former Soviet Union, was attacked as he stepped off the train that brought him to the Brussels meeting. Moscow Chief Rabbi Pinchas Goldschmidt said he was attacked by four Arabs who shouted, “Death to the Jews!”
