Two thousand people filled the Y. M. H. A. auditorium here Sunday and passed resolutions appealing to “the sense of justice of the British people and the enlightened sentiment of mankind in support of the recognized historical right of the Jewish people to a national home.”

The meeting was held under the auspices of the local branch of the American Jewish Congress and endorsed by 65 Jewish groups of the city. The speakers included B. Zuckerman of New York, Rabbi Goodman A. Rose, Rabbi M. S. Sivitz and Isaaac Carmel of Cleveland.
