Ludwig Hoilaender, outstanding leader of the Central Union of German Citizens of the Jewish Faith, issued an appeal to all Jewish parties in Germany, asking for the establishment of internal peace in Jewish life in the country.

The Central Union is not opposed to the upbuilding of Palestine as the home for persecuted Jews from abroad, he declared, but German Jews belong to the German nation. When the non-Zionists will have gained influence in the Jewish Agency entire Jewry will cooperate for the Palestine upbuilding, he stated.
