Uruguayan President Receives Sprinzak; Israeli Addresses Special Session of Parliament

Joseph Sprinzak, Speaker of the Israel parliament who arrived here from Argentina for a visit in connection with the opening of the United Israel Campaign, was received by President Luis Battle Berez of Uruguay. Mr. Sprinzak later addressed a specially convoked session of the Uruguayan parliament. He spoke in Hebrew.

Thousands of Jews Welcomed the Israel leader when his ship docked here. Mr. Sprinzak participated in ceremonies marking the launching of the fund-raising drive for Israel, which has a goal of $1,000,000.
