Denying as untrue the rumors that the Vatican had inspired Cardinal Faulhaber’s letter to Premier Streseman in which the Cardinal of Munich decried the anti-Jewish agitation and expulsion in Germany, the official Italian news agency “Vota” says the Cardinal’s protest accords with the spirit of the Vatican’s constant exhortation.
