The first large illustrated weekly published in Palestine will be issued beginning April by “Davar,” Labor daily, as a supplement. The editorial direction has been assumed by Walter Zadek, who was for several years on the staff of the Berliner Tageblatt and Uhu and is well known in German journalistic circles.
Mr. Zadek reached here some time ago. He was imprisoned at Spandau, near Berlin, from March 15 to April, 1933, but was later released.
