While three Arab foreign ministers arrived here as part of a worldwide campaign of incitement against Israel’s plans for the use of Jordan River waters for the irrigation of the Negev, Mexican Foreign Minister Jose Gorostiza called at the Israel Embassy here today to convey his Government’s greetings on the occasion of Israelis 16th anniversary celebration.

Two of the Arab foreign “ministers–Alvalid Thaleb of Syria, and Paul Saud Ammoun of Lebanon–were received by Mexican President Adolfo Lopez Mateos for a discussion of the Middle East situation. They were later-joined by Foreign Minister Antoun Altaian of Jordan, and all three called on Foreign Minister Gorostiza. President Mateos, meanwhile, cabled his greetings to Israeli President Zalman Shazar.
