White House spokesman Ari Fleischer asked for reporters to be barred from a speech he gave at a Texas synagogue. Fleischer’s office told synagogue officials that his speech at Waco’s Temple Rodef Shalom last Friday evening was off the record, and all reporters who attended the event were told to leave before Fleischer spoke.
