Willkie Gets Jewish Vets’ American Leadership Award

Wendell L. Willkie yesterday was presented with the Jewish War Veterans’ 1941 “American Leadership Award” at a luncheon at the Hotel Waldorf Astoria. The presentation was made by Fred S. Harris, National Commander. The citation praised Willkie’s “splendid example of selfless patriotism, which is and will continue to be an inspiration to the people of the United States.”
