The World Union for Progressive Judaism today decided to establish a seminary for youth leaders and religious teachers for German Jewish youth and Algerian Jewish refugees in France. The Reform Jewish body announced the decision at the organization’s conference being held at the Anne Frank Home here.
Reports were delivered by Rabbi Lionel Blue, recently appointed director for European Jewish youth work; Rabbi Henry Brandt, of Leeds; Rabbi Doy Marmur, of London; and Rabbi Jaap Soetendorf, of Amsterdam.
