Yasser Arafat’s popularity is slipping, a new poll shows. According to the poll, conducted earlier this month by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, the Palestinian Authority president has the support of 35 percent of Palestinians, compared to 46 percent in July 2000, before the outbreak of the intifada.
