Yom Kippur services will be held tomorrow night in several deep shelters in the East End.

At the same time, the Jewish Board of Guardians announced that its meetings were temporarily suspended because of present conditions. An emergency committee headed by Lionel Cohen was named to act until meetings are resumed.

Sergeant Observer Bernard Bardega today was awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal for gallantry and devotion to duty. He volunteered for the Royal Air Force two years ago, after leaving the Poytechnic School.
