Yosef Sharon has been appointed Representative of the Israel Ministry of Finance in the United States, Canada and Latin America. He has been for the last nine years the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Finance in Jerusalem.
Mr. Sharon was previously with the Ministry of Defense. He is replacing Gideon Paz, the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Ministry of Finance, who is joining the American-Israel Cultural Foundation as administrative vice-president.
