A colony is to be established in Palestine for the settlement of American members of the Jewish Legion who have been instrumental in aiding General Allenby capture the Holy Land from possession of the Turks.
The sum of about $40,000, bequeathed by Mrs. Rebecca Zundelowitz, of Wichita Falls, Texas, to the Zionist Organization of America, is to be used in financing the settlement. Morris Rothenberg, president of the organization, announced that this represents the first attempt of the Jews to show their appreciation of the services rendered in the establishment of a national homeland by the soldiers of the Jewish Legion.
