Following J.T.A. reports that the Palestine Government had taken action to put into effect its policy of departing illegal immigrants to a British colony, the Emergency Committee for Palestine Affairs held a special meeting today and asserted that such action would “evoke the indignation of Jews, throughout the world.”
The committee said it was seeking to obtain further information from Palestine as to what had occurred.
