When Lord and Lady Allenby will be given a civic reception on Monday, March 22, the Zionist Organization here will play a prominent part in it.
The reception will be given in front of the city hall and the Jewish Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, and a delegation of the Zionist Council will participate.
An address on Velum in Hebrew will be delivered by Rabbi J. Schwartz.
All the Jewish Legionaires that served in Palestine will form a guard of honor, under Sergeant Major Louis Gurofsky.
Lord and Lady Allenby will arrive in the city Saturday morning and in the evening Lord Allenby will address a large mass meeting in Massey Hall on His Impressions of Palestine.
Monday evening he will be the guest of honor at a banquet which the Local B’nai B’rith is arranging.
