Six immigrants to Israel awarded Nefesh B’Nefesh Bonei Zion Prize

The $10,000 prizes announced on Tuesday will be awarded at an official ceremony in the Knesset in May.

The envoy made the call for aliyah in a German newspaper days after the head of German Jewry rejected the approach.

The plan cited a rise in jihadist terror attacks and a difficult economy in Europe as causes of increased immigration.
