An area of 1,000 dunams for orange plantations was purchased by the Menorah Land Settling Agency.
Rabbi M. S. Margolis, one of the oldest Orthodox Rabbis in the United States who was on a visit here inspected the Menorah land on Mount Carmel. Rabbi Margolis, who left for America, expressed his satisfaction with the Menorah land.
