A resolution commending the work of the B’nai Brith Anti-Defamation League for effecting the elimination of certain objectionable features from Cecil de Mille’s picture, “The King of Kings” was passed by District Grand Lodge No. 1 at the closing session of its convention here yesterday.

Buffalo was chosen as the seat of the convention next spring. An appeal for assistance in the establishment of cultural and religious centers for Jewish students in eastern universities was also passed.

Many of the delegates remained in Providence to attend the banquet given in honor of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, inaugurating the United Palestine Appeal drive.
