A despatch received from the Cairo correspondent of the “Morning Post” declares that the Arabs responsible for the present racial war were of the opinion that the Socialist government now in power in Great Britain would be anti-capitalist, while the Zionist forces, organized by capitalists, could rely only upon a Conservative government for support. This opinion and the Egyptian question doubtless contributed to the present disorder, the correspondent writes. He adds further that the persistence of the trouble is possibly caused by the merely defensive policy adopted by the Administration against the Arab rioters. (Continued on Page 8)

A vigorous reaffirmation of the Palestine Mandate by the British government is urged by the “Daily Chronicle.” Aligning itself with the attitude of the “Daily Express,” the “Daily Mail” demands that Britain return the Mandate over Palestine to the League.

An understanding with Ibn Saud, because of the immense influence which he wields is urged by the “Daily News.” Such an understanding, on the part of the government, it urges, would reduce the British task in Palestine and reduce the far-reaching menace.
