Einstein Takes Up-paid Appointment at Oxford University

Professor Albert Einstein, who was in residence at Oxford University early this year as Rhodes Memorial Lecturer, has been elected to a research studentship at Christ Church College, Oxford, the college at which he was in residence as Rhodes Lecturer.

The terms of this appointment have not yet been disclosed, but the “Daily Herald” states that it was informed by the Dean, Dr. H. J. White; last night that Professor Einstein would pay periodic visits to Oxford and would work at the College.

The appointment it adds, is not an honorary one. ###
