Colonial Secretary Malcolm MacDonald sent good wishes for success and happiness in their new home to the first party of 15 refugees leaving today for the British African colony of Kenya under the auspices of the Plough Settlement Association. The members of the party were selected in Germany last September by Colonel Knaggs, London representative of Kenya. The organization, which was founded by the Council for German Jewry, has promised the Government not to form Jewish settlements but to distribute the refugees throughout the country to facilitate their absorption by the general community.
