Loyal Aliens Need Not Fear Any “hysterical Distrust,” Immigration Chief Assures

The Government of the United States will not succumb to any hysterical distrust of the disloyal minority in a manner that would leave needless scars on the loyalty or faith of millions of loyal aliens, Earl G. Harrison, newly confirmed director of Immigration and Naturalization, declared here today.

“We cannot afford to forget the vast potential contribution of the foreign born citizen to our economy and to our morale,” Harrison emphasized.
