The Polish Government has informed the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society that its four offices in Poland will be permitted to continue their activities and expenditure of funds to aid Jews emigrating from Poland.

A statement issued here today by Isaac L. Asofsky, executive director of EIAS, revealed that the Polish Government stipulated that funds may be used to purchase shipping space aboard vessels of the Gdynia American Line and the Cunard White Star Line. The HIAS will be required to make a report of its expenditures in Poland to the Polish Government every three months and transmit its monies through a Polis bank.
