Both the Israel Government and the Jewish Agency today denied a report to the effect that a “secret Zionist” broadcasting station beamed to the Soviet Union had been established. There is no such station in existence, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, world president of the Jewish Agency, said, and there are no plans to establish such a facility.
Dr. Walter Eytan, director general of the Israel Foreign Ministry, left here today for a six-week our of Eastern European countries. His itinerary includes stops at Moscow, Prague, Budapest and Bucharest.
(A report from Moscow today said that Soviet Premier Nikolai Bulganin last night told Israel Ambassador Joseph Avidar that “we believe that you want peace.” Marshal Bulganin talked with Ambassador Avidar at a reception in the French Embassy in Moscow.)
