Israel Spent $700,000,000 on Defense in 10 Years, Minister Reports

Israel spent $700,000,000 on defense and security expenditures in the past decade, Finance Minister Levi Eshkol revealed today. The Finance Minister disclosed that between $1,500,000,000 and $1,750,000,000, had been invested in development projects in the same ten years, while local investments for the same period were 3,800,000,000 pounds.
