Hamburg to Build New Jewish Hospital to Replace One Nazis Closed

The City Senate voted this week-end to build a new Jewish hospital in Hamburg as restitution for the Israelitische Krankenhaus which the Nazis closed down during the Hitler regime. The entire cost, estimated at about 3,900,000 deutschemarks, will be paid by the city.
