1,400 Immigrants Arrived in Israel in April; Difficulties Explained

A total of 1,400 immigrants arrived in Israel last month, it was announced today. This is the smallest number to arrive since the state was established, and was explained here on the basis of the difficulties encountered by Rumanian emigrants and the fact that the North African immigration centers are behind schedule.
