A Yemenite Jewish family has been reunited in Israel. The aliyah of the last of the 21 members of the Nahari family from New York was reported by the Jewish Agency for Israel, which helped facilitate the immigration. The family had lived among a community of Satmar Chasidim, who generally are anti-Zionist, and has helped moved Jews from Yemen to New York. Some have alleged that the Satmars try to keep Yemenites in the community against their will, though the Satmars deny this.
