Anti-Semitic graffiti was spray-painted on the Moscow offices of the Jewish Agency for Israel. A swastika and a burning Star of David were discovered on the walls of the JAFI compound in central Moscow on Wednesday when a high-ranking JAFI official from Israel was visiting the office. “It’s painful and terrifying to see such things in the center of Moscow,” said Hagai Merom, the Jewish Agency’s treasurer. The Federation of Russian Jewish Communities called on the police to investigate the incident as a hate crime.
