A sentence of one year imprisonment at hard labor was pronounced against an Arab found guilty of robbing the synagogue at Nveh Yakob, Mizrachi colony near Jerusalem.
Taileisim, phylacteries and other articles were taken by the Arab from the synagogue. He was traced to a village in the Hebron district where he was found wearing a prayer shawl as a cloak.
