An invitation from Dorothy Thompson, president of the enti-Zionist “American Friends of the Middle East, “has been accepted by George V. Allen, newly-designated Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, who agreed to speak before the AFME in New York.
Mr. Allen will address the anti-Zionist group on January 27 at Hotel Delmonico. The State Department made known that it will not publish advance text of the address for the use of the press. Government sources, meanwhile, indicated that Mr. Allen will not deal, in the address, with current aspects of the Arab-Israel issue.
