With approximately $500,000 raised for the United Jewish Appeal, embracing the United Jewish Campaign and the United Palestine Appeal, the campaign for Baltimore’s quota of $750,000 has been extended to January 26. It has been planned to end the campaign on Monday. January 23.
A number of contributions have been received from non-Jews, although they are not being canvassed.
Included in the half-million dollars are a large number of subscriptions obtained in the counties of Maryland, where the campaign is also being conducted.
