The German Supreme Court handed down a decision yesterday ordering a district court to consider the claim of Jewish partners of a textile firm who were ousted merely because they were Jewish.
The court held that the mere fact a firm had Jewish partners did not impair the business. The district court had upheld the ouster of the Jewish partners, acknowledging the argument by the Gentile members of the firm that their business was injured owing to the fact that Jews held partnerships.
