A committee of five to supervise the publication of a detailed history of Jewish life in America for the past half-century, to be written in Yiddish, was selected at a session of the newly-elected national executive committee of the Yiddish Scientific Institute, held at the home of Leon Moisieff. At the convontion of the Yiddish Scientific Institute two weeks ago, it was decided to include the study of Jewish life in America in the program of the Institute.
The committee of five which was chosen for this purpose consists of A. S. Sachs, Judah Jaffe, Dr. S. Margoshes, Dr. M. Soltes and Dr. I. Shatzky.
