Groundbreaking ceremonies were held today at the Jewish General Hospital for the construction of an eight-story wing addition to the building.
The new wing, part of a $12, 500, 000 program, is to be completed by 1968. The first phase of the program was a nurses’ residence, already built. The new facilities will improve all departments of the hospital, and will add 250 beds to its capacity.
